[The Quietlands]

Hey Neon :)

So this piece is pretty awesome. I'm really happy it placed in the contest. You deserve it, especially with an awesome piece like this. The piano work is fantastic and your instrument choice is awesome, which says a lot since you only had so many instruments to choose from! The only thing I can really criticize on is that the song gets a little repetitive. Mainly the bass in the piano, but perhaps that's what makes it sound so monochromatic... Overall, this is a solid piece! And it definitely deserved a spot on the top three! I hope you join in on the other rounds of this contest!

I really appreciate the kind words and feedback! It's good to know that I chose my instruments correctly, I'm glad it all worked out the way it did. As others have pointed out, the repetition can be a tad too much, so I understand where you're coming from. I'll definitely have to keep this in mind for future songs! :)

[Yoshi's Story]

This game was great. It was pretty damn hard too when getting to the later levels. I can tell you had some fun with this one. It sounds very playful and it a very worthy electronic remix of the song. Nice work!

Thanks man ! ehhmm i use logic pro, i use line6/amplitube plugins for the guitars and bass, and i spend alloooottttt of time on EQ'ing and compressing/limiting (mixing). just pm me if you have any specific kind of questions man.

Very unique to your other stuff. I love the part at 1:00, its lacking a bit being that it isn't so full at that point, but I think that feeling just makes it that much better. I'm not sure how to review this song since techno isn't really my genre, but I would say the production value on this is really good. Definitely one of my favorites by you. Nice work man, sounds awesome! 5'd and favorited :3
