Was this built off of an improv that you did? :P Nice work man! The louder note at :40 was a little uneasy for me and abrupt, but other than that, I liked the song a lot! nice work man

MarkySpark responds:

Yes, most of all my work are improv's that take some form.

Love it!! :DD

SKILLZmakeKILLZ responds:

:D thanks

This is going to sound really really weird, but parts of this song sound like it belongs in Yoshi Story on N64... I'm not sure if you have ever played that. And the other part of this sounds like a battle theme from pokemon black and white version, at least the badass swing drumbeat fits it. Especially the team plasma theme. Which is very awesome! And Yoshi Story is an awesome game as well :D But along with all of those things, you put in an original aspect which is your own, so really nice work! I loved it :D

Sounds awesome man. I didn't really get the space feeling from it, but I could hear this in the title screen for the game Borderlands for sure. I think that is just because of the drums though, the tambourine with the drums really gave off that feel. But as more instruments came in, I could see the space feel of the song come into play. The song gets awesome at 2:25, I think I am thinking of this song too much from a video game music perspective, but I can totally see this in a TV show of some sort, like star trek maybe? :3 Never saw the show, but I think I could hear this to it. The song really sounds like a movie score actually more than anything. It has a very progressive feel and the parts you use in the song really bring out the diversity of a movie score. I am no movie score expert but I think it could fit :P Anyways man, this is awesome. Keep up the good work!! :D

Neon-Bard responds:

Really? Perhaps I was a bit hard on myself with this one...but I really appreciate that you like it! :D

Awesome job dude! Huge improvements for sure! Well deserved 5 stars :D

ChasingPresence responds:

thanks you :)

Damn this is good, it sounds like a movie score! And you did it just to a picture? That is pretty impressive and unexpected if I didn't read the description. It's pretty cool that you were able to make a music score based on just one picture, when it sounded like a score. I'm a little disappointed at how short it is DX but that doesn't mean I didn't enjoy it. And I'm sorry that you can't write music without making it for something :/ That must be terrible man. I really hate to critique music that belongs fits an image, game, movie, or whatever. I would comment on how well it fit to the image, but the link won't work for me DX I'm sure you did a great job though. i really enjoyed this. Nice work.

Also, it'd be awesome if you could check out my new original song "Boundless" and give feedback!

Thanks for reviewing!
There are 3 spacebars in the link set by Newgrounds itself for some stupid reason.
I'll try making something longer next time!
