I love songs like this. It's the kind of song you can just sit and relax to. Not have a care in the world. And I agree with the review below me. The piano had an awesome sound as well as the other acoustic instruments. I wasn't sure if I liked it when the piano went into the minor key melody such as the one at 1:28. The other piano parts were awesome though. That is really the only bad thing about the song though. Nice work man. Keep it up.

Thanks Stunkel! :)

Basically when I want to cheer myself up, I like to put myself into that kind of mindset by just not having a care in the world as you put it. I'll keep what you said in mind about the piano, I have to try and work harder on those melodies. Thanks a bunch for the review! :)

Damn, nice intro. Very catchy and going strong and hard right away. I think your voice could use some improvement and maybe be turned down a little. For the most part your voice sounds really good though... It just sounds like you are trying too hard at some points. Nice work though! It takes a lot to sing in a song and share it to a website!

VitranDango responds:

Thanks! Yeah, I was redoing a older song of mine, and I couldn't get the mix just quite the way I wanted to (I'd have to rerecord the guitar, and my guitar is broke at the moment) when I tried to lower the vocal mix, the guitars started to bleed with the voice (No multitrack for most of the song, kindof remixing a singular track I made awhile back). I still have alot of learn about proper compression. Yes, I share the exact same opinion. The melody in the verses maybe a bit forced out and I kindof gotten sick of working on finding a proper way, so its just another case of "Eh, good enough". haha. Thanks again!

Nice work dude! Sounds really good! Very video gamey and pretty intense! Nice melodies used as well! :) Keep it up!

Thanks Stunkel! :)

To be honest, I'm not really fond of this track. It was sitting in my project folder for a while though, so I thought it was about time to fix up a few things and submit it.

Pretty nice melody in the beginning. I thought it was a little weird how it was spoken poetry as apposed to singing with tone for the words. The song in the background was pretty good though. I liked the background sound effects with the audience in the background! It really gave off a cool atmosphere! The melodies were really cool also! The song was really well mixed, but I thought that the drums could be a little more powerful, i felt as if they were a little weak when they should have been one of the stronger parts of the song. Nice work though! Overall the song sounds really good!

Also, it'd be awesome if you could check out my original song "The Return" and give feedback!

Thanks! :D Hope you get the chance to sample my other songs as well.

& Yeah, I'd be glad to listen to one of your tracks!

I love anything zelda :D i never expected this song to be remixed though... at least in this way DX. But here are some constructive criticism tips that might help.

I know that the original song is very repetitive and doesn't have much to it. But I think it would have been cool if you added some structure to the song! Like maybe start off the song with just the first note of each arpegiating chord and then slowly build into what we love to hear every time we visit the great fairy fountain! Because the way that it's structured, it could just be a video game loop 30 seconds long. But you could start off with a soft piano or something add some strings... idk its up to you! But it'd also be cool to hear this song more full for sure. But nice work! Sounds pretty good!

I would like to point out that on my profile I have a second version of this song. I meant to delete this one, but yeah I was told it was repetitive by a close friend so I fixed it and updated it. Though mind you this was mixed in a way to be like a rap instrumental, as I am planning on someone putting lyrics to this. Best part is people have rated it lower than this one, and it does not have the views this one does. Also, I'm just going to put it out there, and not to sound like a dick but if you go on here and look at any comment I have given I have never told anyone to check out any of my music on a review. I find it rude and annoying, even more when you didn't even click my profile to check out other things. If you had done so you would have seen that I had an updated mix on this.

Nice and very mysterious intro! Followed by a very spacey themed synth. You change up the melodies a lot which is great. Plenty of parts to the song so it keeps me interested. But one thing that kind of was a downer was the transitions. I think there could have been some drum fills or a note to trigger that transition. It just felt like something was missing in-between parts is all. The sound quality is really good though. And I read its for a alien shooter type game? It definitely suits that style very well! But this is pretty good overall! Nice work!

Also, it'd be awesome if you could check out my new original song "The Return" and give feedback!

Yeah, I don't think anything about the track is really good but indeed, the lack of transitions is what really hurts me each time I listen to it.
As for the gameplay, it's really not that similar to Alien Shooter. As the title suggests you're flying around (in a sideview), mostly through narrow labyrinths and shooting other flying creatures. It's hard to compare it to anything I know, actually.
Anyway, thanks for the review. :)

I love the saxophone :D I had no idea what to expect when I heard this song. But it is extremely catchy! Is that you singing in the song? Nice voice if so :P I think that the instrument quality could be a little better. Such as the drums. To fix this you can add a reverb effect on the instruments. It will make it much better.I love the melodies in the song you used and you used the right amount of instruments to give a nice full sound! Nice work though! Just wish the song was a little bit longer. It's very catchy and nice!

heh, thanks for le review :)
i made that song yesterday, extremely high lol
and i shall see what i can do with the drums, maybe add some more, waiting on a sew sound pack coming :)
gonna look at that song now.

oh yeah, it wasnt me singing, just samples.

Really nice sounding loop! I think you should make it into a full song though! And it sounds a bit too repetitive as it is, try adding at least a minute of the loop or else it just gets annoying after while :/ But nice work!

vai90 responds:

Yeah, true. I might make a full song out of it. Not sure yet, but I should definitely at least try to expand the loop. Thx for the review!

Nice jazzy intro. Very friendly sounding as well. I think the piano sound effect could be a little better... but for the song, the sound that it makes it actually pretty good! It works and flows well with the song. I love the harmonica instrument that starts at around 0:32. The song sound very video gamey though. I like it a lot :D The piano solo that comes in later is also very nice. I also noticed you did some panning. I was listening to the song with one headphone and I was going to make a comment on how some things were too quiet, but it's very good. The only thing I can really say you can improve upon is more chords in the background. It does get a little repetitive. This doesn't bother me personally, but it could use some more parts with different chord progressions just to change it up a bit. But nice work!

Ragezero responds:

Thanks for the feedback :) This was quite the quick project, but it worked out quite well! About being repetitive, I know it is. It wasn't planned to go on as long as it did, but I liked it enough to give it a second go after the first piano part and all :)

As for 'The Return', I think I already gave some feedback =) Tis a good track

I love the intro. The chord progression you use is just fantastic. I thought the song would go in a completely different direction, but what you did was pretty unique as well! The best part was definitely the piano in the background. It was very clean and it all just sounded so peaceful. I just wish that the song went to a little bit more of an intense level if you know what I mean. It could have gone to be so much bigger! It could have had an epic drum beat and a huge chorus with it! But the way that it is, I can see it going along to montage video or a time-lapse video. It could go in a lot of great places. That's the beauty of ambient music. It really does have so many more directions to go than other music. But really good job. It was a little repetitive and I was hoping for it to go a little bigger, but the song really worked well for what it is. So nice work!
