So nostalgic of the movies. Honestly is awesome. DId you really play this? Because you play the piano very well. No complaints about the song at all. Nice work! I really enjoyed listening to it!

[Pop (WIP) V2]

Nice work! I love the synths in the beginning! The echo effect on it is really awesome. The bass drum in the beginning is nice. Just a suggestion though. I noticed you changed the bass drum sound when they got a little faster on that fill. Try keeping the same bass drum, it just sounds a little weird changing like that is all. Also, I think that transition started a bit too early. I think the melody of the song could change up a little bit also. As it is, it's a little repetitive.

The sound mixing quality of this song is great. However I was hoping for a little bit more of a fuller sound though if you know what I mean. Try adding some more instruments to get that full sound! The more melodies the better!

Overall, the song is nice! Just needs some more melodies and it needs to change up just a little. I liked the ending where you changed the melody up, but the ending of the song was also abrupt and unexpected. But nice work!

[The Heart's True Darkness]

New review time! This is for an animation so I can't really be critical on structure. So I will just talk about the song itself :D I think that the instruments could have been a little bit more realistic. I know it isn't your fault, so I won't take off points for that :P Just one thing that bugged me was the voice sounds. Not a big fan of it haha. I really like when the piano comes in! Really adds a different aspect of atmosphere to the song! But nice work!

Thanks for the feedback! I experimented with a lot of different instruments. Realistic ones didn't really fit the feel of the animation, but I get what you're saying. I agree with what you said about the piano. I felt that it brought a lot of life to the sound. Too bad you didn't like the voices. It works well for that point in the animation.

Very nice score! It sounds extremely happy and awesome! I'm very impressed actually. I have always wanted to do a film score of some sort but I have never been given the opportunity :/ This is really awesome though. I have never seen the animated series you are making this for, but I can imagine something like Tom and Jerry to go along with this! The instruments you use are really awesome! Very cartoony and friendly sounding! I don't know what else to say to be honest! Great work!

[Scars]

Very nice piano melody at the start! The second and higher pitched piano melody going along with it is really nice too! I love the dynamics of the piano as well! I like the bass line that comes in later. I feel like it is a bit too funk though for this song. It has the exaggerated the plucks on them. It just feels like they should be a little softer in my opinion. You do a good job of building the entire song. I have had trouble with building entire songs with just piano DX It can be pretty difficult DX I think the song sounds flat a little bit after 2:30. It could just use some slight cleaning up is all.

Nice song though! Very nice melodies and great atmosphere! A few mess ups here and there but its really good overall!

Very nice! It sounds very video gamey :D I like it a lot though. I think that the instruments could sound a little bit more realistic though. I think you could definitely improve this by adding some reverb and echo effects to the instruments. This will really help the drums as well. The song is very naturey and nice though. Good job!

I've already reverbed the instruments, but i prefer not to overdo it because there are alot of subtle effects. The instruments are as they are to stay in the same spirit as the rest of the album ;)

[Dark Corridor: Ambience]

Sick intro! Very mysterious! I like it a lot when the drums come in. Really cool sounding actually. It isn't too repetitive even though I feel like I should feel that way DX. I love when the piano comes in. It's really really awesome when that comes in and when it builds more and more! This is very film scorey as well. For some reason i can see this going in the movie Inception right next to Hans ZImmers song "Time" This is pretty awesome. It's very cool to listen to though. And it really just passes by you like its nothing. No complaints at all really!

[The Odyssey]

Nice strings in the beginning. They could be a little more realistic sounding, but they sound good for the song. The melodies in the background repeat a bit too often I think though. Like the strings go on for a little too long. I think the song would improve if it changed up the chords in the background a little bit. I'm not sure if that would mess up the flow of the song, but I think it would be worth a shot!

I really like the synths at 2:15. I don't think you did, but it sounds like the same loops you would hear in garageband XD.

Now I hear a slightly different chord profession at the end of the song. You should put that same chord progression somewhere earlier in the song to change it up a bit! But It's a pretty nice song.

So basically, you have a ton of awesome melodies, especially the piano ones :D but the chords in the background with the strings are a little too repetitive. Just changing the chords up a little could help. Or if you don't want to change the chords up at all, change up the drums, add some more drum fills on the drums as well! Transitions and changing the drums is huge! They are very helpful in music.

Haha, I don't use garageband. I used it a few times, but it's not really my program to work in.

Nice intro, the bass is a nice touch to it as well. The intro melodies changing up a bit is really nice as well! But I think that it goes on for a little too long. Try adding some more instruments in there! If you don't want to change up the melody at all, try adding some more instruments to give it a fuller sound and to make somewhat of a build. And every once in a while you can go to a chorus. The song is very repetitive though and I can't really tell where a chorus is or anything since it all sounds the same.

The part at 1:10 sounds flat, but it's very interesting because it actually adds on to the tone of the piece. It compliments it very well for some reason. So that's good on your part that you are able to do that haha.

The only thing I can think of to make this better is to try changing up the melody a little bit, and adding some heavier drums. Add a snare drum and high hats and all of that. The bass drum loop gets a little old after a while. We want to hear something new! Something changing it up! I think the song has potential, but it has some ways to go. More melodies and more instruments!
