Pretty good song! I like the horns in the beginning. I'm not really a fan of 8-bit like this because it the sounds are so gritty and almost ear piercing DX But I won't judge this song because of it. I like the melody at 1:07 a lot. It was actually a pretty random mix... but it worked well! It was also very interesting to find voice in the song! I wasn't sure if you were going for this, but I think the song needs to be a little fuller if you know what I mean. It needs that full sound! The song could use a louder bass as well! I'm not sure if the one chirping bass is enough.

But overall it's a fairly decent song. Structurally it could use some work, and the mix could be a little better. But nice work!

Also, it'd be awesome if you could check out original song "Stranded" and give feedback!

This is the only song anyone's ever commented on. Thanks for the input!

Pretty good! It sounds a little flat at some points, but other than that, it's pretty good! Also, it can be a little repetitive at times. Try and add more instruments to the build to make it sound less repetitive! But pretty good job overall!

Lol, is this original song by Demi Lovato.... lavado... lavoto... lafonda? something like that. Nice remix though! I don't know the song THAT well, but this sounds pretty legit. The transitions you use are really awesome though! I think the bass could be turned up a bit though. And I'm not quite hearing that full sound in songs that I love to hear so much. Try adding a few more instruments to create a fuller sound. Structurally, this song is really good in terms of when you drop the instruments. The sound quality is decent too. I did pretty good with the resources you were given :)

Also, it'd be awesome if you could listen to my original song "Stranded" and give feedback!

Thanks man, your songs are great too :)

Alright, here is my take on this song.

The first thing I must address is the structure of the song. It kind of is random. Your transitions are a little rough and could use a lot of work. But then I heard the part at 1:29 and it sounded like a fairly good transition. That was the kind of thing you should be doing! It sounds very random and out of place in your other transitions. I think it could improve a lot. A lot of the song is really random too. You have piano, ambient sounding instruments, and heavy distorted synths. I think these all could mix, but you take one instrument at a time in this song and that is when the rough transitions are. I think you could fix this definitely. There are parts in the song that sound good together, but not great.

Overall this song could use some work. Keep at it though!

Okay, this is really useful information. I'll try to work off of your points. I knew the transitions were rough, but I didn't really think about over arching structure. I suppose I have a lot to work on. Should keep me busy for a few weeks.

Very interesting song you have here... Obviously this song has no structure really... at least nothing I can really recognize... So I will just have to judge this by how much I enjoy it and where I can picture it going.

I can see this in a movie perhaps... At least something of this style. Maybe a horror film or a sci-fi film. An alien being discovered or a mans wife was just taken by one of the zombies as he watches is happen in slow-motion, this music would play. Then the zombie wife attacks him and he has no choice but to kill her. Or maybe this track would fit in with an intro to a movie. I can see it in a montage of a post apocalyptic walk through the desert as the people wandering it ponder life.

Just ideas where this could fit! it was kinda hard to rate though since it is such a track that fits a in a film best. But nice work!

Thank you for your in depth review and the glimpse into your mind of what might this song inspire inside your imagination! I do feel this might be in a slow-motion horrific scene or some other sort of depressing moment.

I'll check out your song "Stranded" and let you know what I think.

Honestly, I had no idea what to expect when I read maze of mayonnaise. But I'll give my best review as I can!

This is a very video gamey song for sure if it were anything! I see in the tags "boss fight" so I assume it was supposed to be for that :P and it really is! So nice work on capturing that! The biggest thing that captures the video game theme are the instruments though. So good choices that you made!

The sound mix is outstanding. Everything is very suited for the theme and nothing sounds too quiet or too loud. Nothing is out of place so major props to that. Recently I have been hearing music on here that is badly mixed DX The instrument choices are really good too. I also like the EDM style in there at some points!

Structurally, this song is great also. The transitions are very smooth and easy to listen to. Nothing comes in to fast or is too slow. You change the song parts plenty. And it sounds very full where it needs to!

Also, it'd be awesome if you could check out my original song, "Stranded" and give some feedback!

Pretty good. I think it could use some improvements, such as the structure of the song. It really is just the same melody over and over with little variation. I think the song could really improve if you added some more instruments to go along with the main riff. Like a piano or guitar. Adding some acoustic instruments would be pretty sweet :D I think it would be fine to do the same thing over and over like you did here if you added some more instruments as it builds up to the next part of the song. But hey, you can always improve. It's pretty good though.

Also, it'd be awesome if you could check out my track "Stranded" and give some feedback! Thanks!

Alright, time for another review!

To start off, I think the intro melody is nice. I like how it fades in slowly. But it goes on for a little too long. I think you could fix this if you add some more instruments. Like a piano melody playing over it. Add a kick drum earlier in it. Any instrument being added in there would be helpful, it would add more color and make it sound less repetitive.

The song gets way better when the high pitched piano comes in. But the build up to that one point took a little too long. The time could have been cut in half for that. It just took a lot of slow transitions and long waiting to get to it. Some transitions like a drum fill or a guitar cue would be great in this song.

This song has a nice a baseline! But it is too quiet. Try lifting that up a bit. The rest of the mix in the song is pretty good. maybe tone down the main melody a bit. It sounds a bit too loud and overpowering, leaving little room for the little instruments in the background to play and add more color and variety.

The song sounds pretty good mixing wise, but it never really has that full sound. The fullest is around 3:33 and it could go a little more. Adding more instruments and melodies would help this a ton

But overall, nice work, could use some more variety. And the mix is good. Just some slight adjustments to it and it would be golden. Some better transitions and instruments and this will sound much better! But nice work!

Thanks again for reviewing, like I said in the description this is just something I found on my hard drive I completely forgot I even did it. I think I did review your piece "Stranded", but some message came up saying it had to be checked. I'll try posting again just in case, so don't be surprised if there's two.

Nice start to the song! Pretty catchy. And I like the sound of the guitar! It really gives off a great feel and adds to the overall atmosphere

But to the song, the song could be mixed a little better. The guitar over powers the other instruments a little too much. If you mixed it together better, particularly the part at 0:20 seconds, you could get a much fuller sound. Adding more instruments could be a good idea also! I can hear some awesome piano in the background along with the guitar and some violins even! Also, the instruments could be a little better sound quality. It really isn't your fault, you work with what you are given, but I thought I would just point that out. The part that starts at 1:03 is the kind of sound you want to go for. It isn't quite there right here, but it's close! Really close! Try and get that sort of sound all of the time.

You have some really nice melodies in the song for sure though. Really gives off that hopeful feeling. reminds me of music from the sonic the hedgehog games :D I think this song would really improve with more instrument variety. Like in the intro, I think you could add an awesome sort of piano solo on the higher octaves and have that lead into the next part. Just an idea :P

But overall, the song is good. Awesome melody ideas, and the structure of the song is pretty good! You have some nice ideas you have put together, but it could sound a little more full and sound mix quality could be a little better. But overall, i like it!

Also it'd be awesome if you could check out my original track "Stranded" and give feedback!
